Sunset in Miyajima Island, Hiroshima.
Rewarded with this blissful view right after a short hike of Mount Misen (since halfway is on the ropeway). This, plus the Sakura-flavoured waffle ice-cream while sitting next to a stray deer.

Shinkansen. One of the things that I miss in Japan. It sure is fun chasing the bullet train by the right name, platform, departure time and the right cabin car.
This here is the Hikari Shinkansen, my ride from Osaka to Hakata in Kyushu Island. Over 610km+ in less than 3 hours. Capable of going up to 300km/h.

P/s: Back to KL. More Japan throwback pics are coming.
Sebelum lompat ni maybe ada 5 ekor rusa.
Rusa busuk macam kambing. Kalau makan mesti sedap.

Sagano Scenic Railway, also known as Arashiyama Romantic Train.
I wish I could have get a better picture to show the experience, but I just can’t coordinate my hand and eyes to enjoy the scenery while snapping photos.
It’s a crowded train though.

One of the building that withstand the Atomic bomb blast in Hiroshima, the A-Bomb Dome. Right next to the Genbaku-Dome Mae Tram station.
Taking the time to enjoy historical visit in between the Shinkansen rushing.
Saga Prefecture of Kyushu Island. View from Kamome Express Train.
You can say it’s like Kedah of Japan, paddy rice fields and fishing ports. And this here is Jitra.

Gunkanjima Island, also called Battleship Island. Known in Japanese as Hashima Island.
It used to be a seabed coal mine since 1810, fully industrialized in 1890, and finally shut down in 1974 and the mine was closed. It was opened for tourism since 2009, and quickly became one of the must-visit in Nagasaki.
Well, Google the rest.

Total of 9 hours~ to and fro Hakata to Kumamoto to Takachiho. 7 hours of bus and 2 hours of Shinkansen.
This is the jump of joy before taking the bus ride back.

P/s: Need to return here again. Perhaps staying overnight or even rental car driving here.
What’s better than a cat? Island full of cats 🐱🐯 .
I think the cats must really hate us since we didn’t bring any food. Oh well, the locals didn’t allow us to feed them anyway.

Struggle to get a good view of Fuji-san while shivering off the cold breeze.
Luckily, wife is good with selfies and Fuji-san is being kind to us.
